# \[Proposal\] The claim time should be ended earlier

At present, three months after the airdrop, it’s hard to believe that a person who doesn’t read the relevant news for three months will make any contribution to the community，That’s why most of the defi projects set the airdrop deadline within a month or a week。

Setting such a long claim time is the only convenience for the cheaters to collect his thousands of addresses。

Sincerely ask the community to think about it

I just want to give you an insight, because it seems you are only looking it from your own perspective. I read your critique a lot. Maybe I am the only person in Crypto who is different but I cannot Imagine.

Where I am from, there is a “declaration day”, what your are worth on that day is your TAX burden, for the rest of the year you can move/sell/trade as much as you want.

**Point 1**  
The Airdrop that Ampleforth did is higher than my yearly salary. If I would claim that just before “declaration day” my tax burden would be waaaay to high. So the team giving us a year is the most High and respectful thing to do from my PoV.

**Point 2**  
And some people have family issues and will be out of the game for 3months. (Ever heard about health issues and the responsibility to be taken from others sir?). A friend of mine is babysitting his sick mother. It took me one months to convince him to make time to cash out a year salary from a airdrop (He could not care, mony is not important now), in the aftermath he is glad, because he can really use the money in his own family.

**Point 3**  
I don’t trust my current hardware to cash out such a huge amount. So it took me three weeks, to think of a strategy I felt comfortable with. (Which ment buying new hadware, which ment waiting on end-of-month salary)

These are just my personal situations. Give me a hour and I can write a book.

So please when you come with a ( **greedy** ) proposal can you please also _share some arguments._ Because your current message just signals fuck the world fill my bags and pump this shit.  
And I can really only disrespect that sorry.

Show us your colors (arguments).

Such a strange assumption. Where you assume all unclaimed come from people not following the news, or contribute.

Full disclosure: It took me around two month to start claiming, and I am contribution for a long time now.

Totally agreed. Also will not proceed this convo. You and I fundamentally see the “others” in a different way. Maybe you are right only the ones present in those specific week, eye-hawking the project 24/7 are entitled for this airdrop, the rest should remove themselves from this community 😛 not worthy.
